Christian Please Reject the Anti-Islam SIOA Movement

We promote love for one another and we reject the hatred and disrepect associated with extremist views.
Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) is an anti-Islam group, with a presence on Facebook.  Some of the SIOA supporters have promoted vulgar, profane, disgusting images, as well as promoted messages of hate and violence.  The so-called "Christian" terrorist Anders Breivik responsible for the July 22, 2011 terrorist attack in Oslo, Norway, has promoted the leaders of the SIOA, its European branch (Stop Islamization of Europe - SIOE).

On the confessed terrorist Ander Breivik's video justifying his terrorist acts to support a "Christian culture," he posted images of hate and violence that also have been on the SIOA's Facebook website for the past year.  The terrorist Breivik views himself as a "modern day Crusader."  Such images which were part of the terrorist Breivik's video remain on the SIOA Facebook page today, including violent images of "crusaders" killing Muslims.  The images have been there for over a year.

The SIOA's Facebook web page has a history of supporters promoting hatred and even calling for murder.

We have contacted pastors, ministers, and other Christian supporters of the SIOA over the past year, and asked them to set an example of Christian love, respect for all of their fellow human beings, and reconsider their involvement with the SIOA.  Most have ignored our entreaties.   We are concerned about the presence of Christian pastors within the anti-Islam movement, especially a group with some supporters that promote hate and violence. All responsible Christian leaders we know reject this.

However, some have questioned whether there are indeed any Christian pastors within SIOA and suggest that such concerns are non-existent.  We have struggled with how to prove this problem for the Christian community to become aware and take action, while showing compassion to Christian leaders.  Therefore, we have posted screenshots below of Christian leaders, but we have removed their names, other than their titles.

We have the unexpurgated version, but we believe this is the best way to document this problem, while showing compassion.   We continue to plead with Christian leaders to reconsider their involvement with the SIOA.  Those Christian leaders who reject the SIOA publicly and want their position documented, we will post it on this blog.

It is both shocking and disturbing to find Christian pastors, ministers, and evangelists on SIOA's Facebook page.  We urge Christians to reject views that disrespect our fellow human beings, and we urge Christians to reconsider their involvement with groups where supporters do not show such compassion and dignity to others.

Especially after the terrorist attack by the "cultural Christian" terrorist Breivik in Oslo, we urge all Christians to  avoid groups linked to his extremist views.
